Browser-based game about prisoners

This was a reskin of an existing game. I think it was Mafia Wars or something similar. I’ve made all the graphics and added a few custom features. It was written PHP, HTML, CSS, which was all new to me back then. I managed to work around it, and the result was pretty great.

The game received some traffic and for a brief moment, there was a lot of activity. Prisoners fighting each other, training, and chatting. Profit wise it wasn’t doing as well as some of the other projects so it was abandoned.

But I remember there was one guy that kept on playing the game, kept training, and leveling his character. I wonder what went through his head, and I honestly feel a little bad for him.
