Last Shot is a stealth shooting game set in a modern time war zone. Your mission is to infiltrate a secret weapons laboratory. Progress through the levels by shooting the enemies and hiding behind obstacles.
Flash was never really intented to be used for games. And so with every new game you make, you would need to write code for basic things like collision detection. With this game, I was asked to use an existing library. A top down shooter, with mechanics similar to Counter Strike.
I had a good experience working with the library. It does a lot of the logic for you. The only issue we had was that it couldn’t carry any information over to the next level. So your health, armor, and weapons were reset every time you would go to the next level.
