I’ve joined my friends from Nitrome for the Nitrome Jam.
The theme was Dream and I wanted to play around with pixel manipulation. A grayscale height-map texture was used for the ground that would shift the pixels up and down. The whole thing felt eerie, so I sprinkled some ghosts to add to the feel. I wasn’t sure where I was going with the gameplay. The end result was more of a tech demo, and a cool result considering it was made in Flash.
